Ann and Alice outfit a babby in fleece
Ann and Alice outfit a fragile baby in fleece "jammies."

Noon>> The morning has flown by and people just keep coming–including some familiar faces! To my surprise, my son, Rich, and his wife, Nicole, with th ree children drove 1-1/2 hours to see for themselves what "Grannie Annie" was up on this wooly workday.
When all is said and done, more than 1,400 people share the excitement of lambing season with Alice and her family on this special day.
But not quite like I did–not at 2 o'clock in the morning.!

'Make It Yourself with Wool' Winner Is Special Guest
No barn clothes for Jessica Franklin. The poised 14-year-old from Neenah, Wisconsin came to A-Z Farm's Open Barn dressed in a beautifully tailored outfit she'd sewn.
Her stunning suit earned Jessica the title of National Junior Winner of the Make It Yourself with Wool contest. The three-piece outfit included lined charcoal pants in a muted plaid, charcoal wool jersey turtleneck and a red double-breasted jacket.
"I've never been to a sheep farm," she told me. These lambs are so cute! I don't live on a farm, but I learned to sew in 4-H.
"I like making clothes that fit me. Many things in the store do not because I am so tall."
